He Brings Technician Know-How and Product Marketing Success to The Position

Los Angeles- October 5, 2022 - Hitachi Astemo Americas, Inc. ("Hitachi Astemo") today announced that Robert Heilbron has been named the new Powersports Product Specialist for the Hitachi Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division.

As Powersports Product Specialist for Hitachi Astemo Americas Aftermarket Division, Heilbron will take the lead on development of products for three of the company's powersports lines and work under the guidance of marketing manager, Hannah Hua. As a trained powersports and motorcycle technician and product marketing professional, Heilbron will be an integral part of increasing awareness of the features and benefits of KEIHIN, NISSIN, and SHOWA premium quality parts. Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd. merged with these performance parts companies, Keihin Corporation, Nissin Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Showa Corporation, to form Hitachi Astemo, Ltd. in January 2021. Heilbron's background in market research and demand, new product development, and instructional writing will benefit Hitachi Astemo as the company introduces performance products and additional applications to these powersports lines.

"I have held previous positions where I have been the go-to person, the one with complete product knowledge and a strong understanding of the market, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to be this resource for Hitachi Astemo," said Heilbron. "These are exceptional powersport product lines, so I am ready to learn more about each one and assist with sharing their value with a wider North American audience."

Prior to joining Hitachi Astemo, Heilbron held various positions during his 21-year tenure at Honda Motor Company., Inc. He started as a senior technical writer and advanced through positions like senior analyst and new product planner. His focused career on powersports parts innovation and development and ability to work within so many departments will be highly valuable as he joins the Hitachi Astemo team.
