Hitachi Astemo Aftermarket BU China region attended Automechanika shanghai organized from December 2 to 5. Notably, the total exhibition area spans 350,000 square meters, with the number of exhibitors reaching a record high of 6,763, marking a 20% increase from the previous session.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Automechanika shanghai， Hitachi Astemo, along with its brands--HITACHI, TOKICO, NISSIN, KEIHIN, and SHOWA--made its debut at Booth E50 in Hall 2.1. The theme "Green, Innovation, Diversity" was prominently featured, showcasing Hitachi Astemo's comprehensive range of green and new energy mobility solutions. This theme underscores Hitachi Astemo's commitment to providing a variety of advanced mobility solutions, contributing to more free and colorful life for end-users, in line with the company's mission and vision.

At this exhibition, Hitachi Astemo displayed its aftermarket product solutions in powertrain systems, intelligent chassis systems, steering systems, and braking systems, highlighting Honda's original auto parts. Additionally, for the first time, Hitachi Astemo introduced motorcycle modified shock absorbers and braking systems, attracting numerous domestic and international visitors.

Several product lines were showcased for the first time, reinforcing the development of localized products in China.

In addition to the traditional star products such as high-pressure fuel pumps, ignition coils, airflow sensors, and direct injectors, the focus was on various product lines within the engine and chassis systems, including fuel pumps, oxygen sensors, ABS wheel speed sensors, VTC, OCV, EGR valves, brake discs, brake calipers, brake master cylinders, brake fluid, and shock absorbers.

Honda Original Autoparts Line Concentrated Display

Nearly 20 product lines, including powertrain systems, braking systems, and suspension systems, were exhibited. The displayed products include:

DI/PI injector
As a Tier 1 supplier of fuel injectors, all products are original equipment (OE) from Hitachi Astemo, providing rapid and precise fuel injection, preventing vehicle hesitation, and ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. High-speed electromagnets and pivots precisely control fuel flow.

Brake Disc
All products have undergone rigorous bench testing to ensure stable performance under extreme conditions. Dynamic balance requirements for product DTV are very high, and all products meet the same dimensional and tolerance standards as OE products, with quality equal to or exceeding original factory requirements. High-quality raw materials and strict process controls are used.

Shock Absorber
Since 1934, Hitachi Astemo has been supplying shock absorbers to major OEMs, equipping one in every five vehicles worldwide and operating 13 shock absorber production facilities across seven countries. As one of the world's largest shock absorber suppliers, all products undergo stringent durability tests and 100% quality inspections, ensuring stable and reliable performance.

Motorcycle Product Portfolio

One of the highlights was the display of Hitachi Astemo motorcycle brake pads，calipers，front master cylinders. The high-performance front and rear shock absorbers for motorcycles demonstrated the safety and performance enhancements achieved by Hitachi Astemo motorcycle products, creating an exciting atmosphere at the exhibition.

Additionally, the exhibition concluded with the signing of the Hitachi Astemo engine oil contract project, the continuation of the FY25 Honda distributor agreement with Guangzhou Yishan Enterprise, the recognition of the outstanding Honda after-sales product distributor for FY24, and the completion of Honda key product training. Ms. Teresa Li delivered a presentation on the "Adhere to the path of sustainable development in the involution" at the Sustainable Development Forum on December 5. The four-day exhibition was a resounding success.
